Indianapolis, Vonnegut Hardware Co., (n.d.). A wooden ruler, given out by the Vonnegut Hardware Company of Indianapolis, which was founded by Vonnegut's great-grandfather and which employed Kurt during his high school summers. Signed by Vonnegut in 2006 in silver ink with the added words: "I worked here." 12", several stains; very good. Also serves as an "Indiana Legal Length Fish Gauge" and as such bears, at inch 7, the printed name of Vonnegut's alter-ego: "Trout." [#025015] SOLD
