Inscribed at some length by John Berryman across the front cover: "'uberous,' eh? very good piece. Blessings on yr prose and lady marion & baby -- John. Kate's having our new kid in June just before I read my poems in Rotterdam." The recipient, unnamed on the greeting, is another writer. Staples rusted; else fine in wrappers. Also included is a photocopy of Berryman's 1970 poem "A Prayer After All" and another holiday card that is from Kate, Martha and Sarah Berryman only, Sarah being that "new kid."
